I know summer hasn’t even started yet, but I’m already thinking about when the leaves turn and a chill creeps in on the breeze. That’s not because I’m wishing away the warm weather; it’s because there’s availability at three of my beach houses around September and October, and it would makes the perfect boutique accommodation in Sussex for your autumn break.
Coral is the most botanically blessed property of all, and the great thing is, the subtropical garden is gorgeous all year round. That’s only the start of Coral’s beauty though – plenty of it lies indoors too. Beach themes run throughout this tastefully decorated luxury property, and it’s 5 bedrooms comfortably sleeps 12 people, including children. Back outside, the beach is a mere hundred yards away, perfect for those fresh walks along the seafront to blow away the cobwebs. Just because it’s autumn, it doesn’t mean the hot tub can’t be enjoyed – it’s kept at a balmy 38 degrees all year round!
Club Walk, the majestic 1930’s property with views across to the sea, is ideal if your party is slightly smaller, with its 4 bedrooms sleeping up to 10 people. It’s deceptively spacious, and provides the perfect luxury property from which Sussex can be explored. Just like all my properties, Club Walk is dog friendly, and the close proximity to the beach means there’s plenty of opportunity for exercise. There are some hidden gems in Club Walk – keep an eye out for the stunning sea themed murals adorning the walls in some of the bathrooms.
Hamptons Beach House is the ultimate home from home. Cute, cosy, and perfect for curling up in to spend some quality time with your loved ones this autumn – and there’s plenty of room for them all; it sleeps 14! Luxuriously styled, Hamptons boasts a beautiful driftwood fireplace, as well as endlessly comfortable bedrooms. This property is another of the 5 that has a hidden surprise – it’s got its own beach hut! A three minute walk takes you straight to the beach, and the leafy private estate that Hamptons sits on is close to all those handy local amenities.
