Angmering on Sea, West Sussex

Our Village

Just a five minute walk from all our beach houses

Your beach house rental property will be just a stone’s throw from Angmering-on-Sea, and whilst the village is quiet and picturesque, it has all you need to enjoy an evening out without having to travel. This includes local eateries such as The Clockhouse Bar, Micks Fish & Chips, Penang Chinese Restaurant, Reema Indian Restaurant, Grub & Gumption Café with excellent home-made food and the Seahorse Café.

Local amenities include Seaview Stores, a general store stocking all the essentials.  A hairdresser and a barber can also be found within walking distance of the houses.

The beach itself is a real gem, and at low tide provides a huge expanse of sand that’s dog friendly all year round. When it comes to dining by the sea, you’ll be spoilt for choice, as the Seaview freehouse sits just a stones through from the seafront, and on sunny summer days, the previously mentioned Sea Horse Cafe takes a pop up stand down to the seafront for tasty food and stunning views. A walk east along the beach for 15 minutes from the properties brings you to The Bluebird Cafe, or if you’re feeling more adventurous, a 45 minute walk west along the beach brings you to East Beach Cafe in Littlehampton, an architectural attraction serving great food from local suppliers.

A few minutes in the car (or a slightly longer walk) will find you in nearby East Preston, with even more shops and amenities including a mini-supermarket for essentials.

One of our particular favourite places to eat, around 10 minutes by car, is The Lamb in Angmering, a gastropub serving a mixture of fine dining and pub classics.
