It’s time to get planning your October half term (even if it seems like a distant reality), because when it comes to school breaks one can never be too prepared. Why squander your time with travel, flights and luggage restrictions when these hours can be used for some well-earned R&R? Only 90 minutes from London our five luxury beach rentals are the ideal half term location. Simply hop in your car and drive on down. It really is that easy.

With the beach never more than a quick walk from the house, there is plenty to keep the little one’s entertained (in between revision time of course!) Be it building sandcastles, collecting shells, frolicking in the shallow water or playing fetch with the pup. And for those cooler Autumn days, have peace in mind knowing that all our houses are equipped with Wifi, Sky TV and Freeview.

Yet half terms are not exclusively for children. After endless weeks of school runs, many mornings consumed packing lunches, and countless hours spent trying to get your head around long division, we think parents deserve a break too.
