This sunshine has made us want to escape to the beach immediately! Walk straight out from your private beach house and onto the dog-friendly beaches for a dose of fresh ocean air. We are huge walking fans for all reasons from physical health to clearing the cobwebs. And love walks, even more, when there are delicious cafés, restaurants and pubs awaiting. Our beach houses are open all year round and so are the beaches!

A great way to get the kids outside is for a refreshing and revitalising coastal walk from your private beach house – especially when there’s a destination with delicious food at the end. Our beach houses are located (literally) on the beach so there is no need to get in the car once. Depending on how far you are wanting to walk we have a range of options and just the thought of the cafés and restaurants that will meet you at the other end has us drooling!

The SeaView Pub: Situated just yards from the shore, the newly renovated Seaview Pub dates back to the 1820’s & provides the perfect blend of modern dining, opulent atmosphere & a warm welcome all year round.

Ferring Beach & BlueBird Café: Take your buckets and nets for some rock-pooling at low tide, followed by some lunch or a hot drink at the BlueBird cafe (voted number one restaurant in Ferring on Trip Advisor). There are beach huts, parking and you may also spot some horse riders if you go in the morning.

Rustington Beach & East Beach Café: Just along from East Preston, you will find Rustington Beach. Due to its south-westerly winds from the English Channel, this is a popular spot for kitesurfing. Like East Preston beach, it is fairly quiet, and very family friendly. If you continue on down the beach you will meet the East Beach Café in Littlehampton which offers seaside classics in a relaxed environment. The East Beach Café is also known for it’s architectural uniqueness!
