The Motorsport and Horse-racing season is coming up at Goodwood, so why not book yourself accommodation at one of our five luxury-style beach houses

Home to a large array of thrilling activities, Goodwood Estate is less than thirty minutes from our luxury rental properties. Treat your senses to a day filled with motorsports, horse racing, clay pigeon shooting and much more; then recuperate at one of our five professionally designed beach houses.

Many of our guests regularly stay for the Goodwood events, and it is no surprise why. What better way to recover from the hustle and bustle of the day than with long peaceful beach walks (only a stone’s throw away from your front door), or a dip in one of our 38 degrees hot tubs. With on-site security and private car parking, you can rest assured knowing that your cars and motorcycles are safe. So kick off your shoes, put your feet up, and reminisce in the highlights of the day.

Members’ Meeting, 6-7 April

Goodwood’s historic motorsport season begins 6^thApril with the exclusive Members’ Meeting. Taking place across two days, the event is inspired by a boarding school sports day. Expect racing, demonstrations and ‘school dinners’ in the great hall. Not to forget, live music and dazzling fireworks at Saturday’s outdoor party. Whole weekend, mid-week, and weeklong bookings are available from 5 April at our Club Walk, Coral, and New England Beach Houses, which sleep up to 10, 12 and 14 people respectively (including children.) All houses are baby, child and pet friendly.

Festival of Speed, 4-7 July

Heralded as ‘motorsport’s ultimate summer garden party,’ the Festival of Speed takes place across three days. Marking the twentieth anniversary of the timed Hillclimb shootout record, this year is looking to be something spectacular, with an opening day bigger and better than ever before. You can book from the 4th or 5th July for a minimum of 7 nights. Bookings are still available at our Club Walk Beach House, which sleeps up to 10 people including children, our Hamptons and New England Beach Houses, which both sleep up to 14 people including children, and our largest accommodation Angmering on Sea Beach House, which sleeps up to 20 people including children. All houses are baby, child and pet friendly.

Qatar Goodwood Festival, 30 July – 3 August

With its rich history and unique location, Qater Goodwood Festival signals the unofficial end of the British social season. More commonly known as ‘Glorious Goodwood,’ it is one of the highlights of the flat-racing season. Before attending, be sure to read up on ‘The Goodwood look.’ In contrast to the strict attire of Royal Ascot, Goodwood has become renowned for its relaxed yet elegant style. Think Panama hats, flowery summer dresses and linen suits. Only our Club Walk Beach House is available for this week so get booking! For a minimum of 7 nights, bookings are available from the 25th July. As our smallest accommodation, Club Walk sleeps up to 8 adults, or 10 with children. All houses are baby, child and pet friendly.

Revival Festival, 13-15 September – check dates – weekend booking

If you missed the Festival of Speed, fear not, for the Revival Festival offers you another chance to indulge in your love of motor cars. Yet this one comes with a twist: the dress code is period dress. Step back in time to the forties, fifties and sixties, and celebrate the glamour of motor racing. Availability is limited, so act soon to secure your stay at our Coral Beach House (sleeping up to 12 people including children) or Angmering on Sea Beach House (sleeping up to 14 including children.) We offer weekend, mid-week and weeklong bookings. All houses are baby, child and pet friendly.
