Sleeping up to 20 people, our gorgeous Angmering on Sea Beach House is a property steeped in glamour and history. Once part of the prestigious Angmering on Sea Country Club in the 1930s, and then later becoming the iconic Blue Peter Club, this spectacular property seduced the most fashionable of guests in its heyday. Renovated in 2011, the now private beach house combines blissful settings with inspired interiors for a luxury accommodation like no other. With panoramic sea views from both inside and out, you will hardly believe you are less than two hours from London.
Divided across two wings, space is most certainly not an issue when it comes to this New England-style, clapboard mansion. With large interiors and exteriors, there is ample room for everyone to relax, unwind and get down to beach life. Indoors, soft neutral tones blend with wooden furnishings and gold detail to create a warm and sophisticated ambience, whilst top-class contemporary amenities ensure total comfort. The bespoke, fully-equipped kitchen flows gracefully into an open plan dining and lounge area, where a great wooden elephant sculpture stands magnificently and evokes an authentic African influence.
The house features seven bedrooms, all complete with fabulous Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels, and 1000 pocket spring mattresses, carefully selected to make your bedtime utter bliss. With many of these rooms, as well as the open plan living area, opening directly onto the gardens, savour the delights of the ocean from your very own beachfront terrace. Nothing says glamour more than sinking into a 38 degree, 7 seater hot tub, or an al fresco sea-view feast with a glass of bubbles in hand. And with luxurious fur rugs provided during the cooler months, there is nothing to stop you making the most of your surroundings all year round.
